Summer school on Bottom-up Energy Modeling

See the GERAD page of this event

We present ETEM, a typical example of a bottom-up model with a strong technological component, whose maintenance and distribution are handled by ORDECSYS.

ETEM is part of a lineage of large-scale energy models with a strong technological focus, beginning with the earliest models in the oil refining industry, followed by BESOM, TESOM, MARKAL, and TIMES, and culminating in the open-source modeling systems ETEM and OseMOSYS.
